Live-site refurbishment of the boiler house into a CHP-led energy centre and district heat network, connecting 6 buildings via ~1 km buried and ~1 km above-ground mains, with school operations maintained.
We delivered Phase 1 of the school’s plan to serve all buildings (and future development) via a central network: a complete boiler-house refurbishment to a CHP-led energy centre plus a new district energy network. Works were sequenced to keep the school fully operational throughout.
Phase 1 connected six buildings using approximately 1 km of buried and 1 km of above-ground heat mains through the campus, providing a scalable platform for later phases.
