Heat-recovery air-source heat pumps provide simultaneous heating and cooling, supplemented by hydrogen-ready gas boilers to future-proof the plant.
The heat-recovery system transfers energy between areas with different temperature profiles, using surplus cooling to serve heating demands. Taking a whole-site view of loads allowed us to size plant more efficiently, reducing capital spend while cutting lifetime energy use and carbon.
